Safe Horizon is the nation’s largest victim assistance organization, operating a wide network of programs across New York City that help survivors of domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, and homelessness, among others. The organization came to OBERLAND looking for an uplifting but impactful campaign for their end of year giving.
We developed the wrapper 5 Boroughs, 1 Horizon to capture Safe Horizon’s role as a harbinger of hope and a safe space within the city, no matter where its clients come from or who they may be. A collage system utilized elements of the New York City skyline—from iconic skyscrapers and bridges to everyday apartment complexes and water towers. Safe Horizon’s clients loom large in horizon, connecting the humanity with the concrete jungle.
